What's covered, for how long, and how our warranty support process works.

Valid for and applicable only to Cascadia Overland Co. truck campers purchased and used inside the United States and its territories or possessions.

We stand behind what we build

At Cascadia Overland Co., we stand behind the quality, durability, and craftsmanship of our truck campers. Every model is designed in the US, manufactured through trusted specialized partners, and thoroughly inspected at our US facility prior to delivery.

Rather than offering returns, we stand firmly behind our products with a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship, beginning on the original date of delivery or shipment.

Two levels of coverage

All models

24 months

Defects in materials, workmanship, and general structural integrity across the entire camper.

Apex Extended

5 years

Defects in materials and workmanship affecting the structural integrity of the aluminum framework, sidewalls, floor, and roof.

24-month limited warranty

Cascadia Overland Co. warrants all campers and accessories against defects in materials or workmanship for twenty-four (24) months from the original date of purchase or delivery. Coverage includes:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faulty workmanship
  • Component or hardware failures
  • Issues related to fit or assembly
  • Defects that impact safety, performance, or reliability

Most manufacturers in this category offer one year. We doubled it, and on the Apex we extended structural coverage to five.

5-year structural warranty on the Apex

In addition to the 24-month limited warranty above, Cascadia Overland Co. warrants the Apex against defects in materials and workmanship affecting structural integrity for five (5) years from the original date of purchase. Structural coverage applies to:

  • The welded aluminum skeletal frame
  • Aluminum sidewalls and exterior skin as they relate to structural integrity
  • The floor structure and its attachment to the frame
  • The roof structure and its attachment to the frame

Structural coverage is the frame, floor, and roof as load-bearing assemblies. It does not extend to appliances, cabinetry, fixtures, seals, finishes, or any component mounted to the structure. Those fall under the 24-month limited warranty or the applicable component manufacturer's warranty.

The periods above are referred to together throughout this document as the Warranty Period.

Who this warranty covers

Both the 24-month limited warranty and the 5-year Apex structural warranty extend to the original consumer purchaser only. Neither transfers to a subsequent owner or to any other transfer of the camper.

The original date of purchase must be evidenced by a copy of the receipt together with the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) issued by Cascadia Overland Co.

Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure arising from:

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, or negligence
  • Unauthorized modification or repair of the camper
  • Use, maintenance, or storage other than in accordance with our published instructions, including those in the owner's manual
  • Environmental conditions, including road salt, hail, windstorm, freezing, flooding, fire, or any occurrence that might be termed an act of God or force majeure
  • Normal deterioration, fading, or discoloration of fabric, vinyl, and decorative items due to wear or exposure
  • Consumables, including batteries and similar items
  • Components manufactured by others (refrigerators, heaters, water heaters, air conditioners, stoves, jacks, solar components, batteries), which are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties
  • Products or devices installed by you or any third party after the original date of purchase
Note

Unauthorized modifications or changes may void all or part of the warranty coverage. We rely on fair and reasonable assessment for claims, and we ask our customers to do the same. Flaws that are cosmetic and do not compromise safety, performance, or structural integrity may or may not be repaired or replaced, at the discretion of Cascadia Overland Co.

Third-party components

If you need service on an appliance or component we did not manufacture, contact that manufacturer directly. We will help you identify the right contact and provide documentation, but the repair goes through them. A list of component manufacturers included with your camper, with contact information, is provided in your owner's manual.

Cascadia Overland Co. is not responsible for any undertaking, representation, or warranty made by a dealer, reseller, or installer in the course of selling the camper beyond what is expressly stated in this document.

Mounting, installation, and owner responsibilities

Important

Camper mounting hardware must be inspected and retensioned regularly. This is the single most common source of preventable damage to a truck camper and to the vehicle carrying it.

  • Frontier and Summit: secured with C-clamps. Check clamp tension before every trip and periodically during travel, particularly after the first hour on rough or unpaved roads.
  • Apex: secured with tie-down straps and ratchets. Check strap tension and ratchet engagement before every trip and periodically during travel. Inspect webbing for cuts, abrasion, and UV degradation, and replace any strap showing damage.

Loose, damaged, or improperly adjusted mounting hardware can damage your camper, your vehicle, or both, and can create a hazard to others on the road. Cascadia Overland Co. is not responsible for damage or loss resulting from mounting hardware that has not been properly maintained, inspected, or adjusted.

Installation performed by others

Where Cascadia Overland Co. did not perform the installation of the camper, we are not responsible for damage or loss to the camper or to the vehicle resulting from improper installation, or from the failure of the owner or installer to maintain and periodically inspect the C-clamps, tie-down straps, ratchets, or other mounting hardware.

Substituted or adapted mounting

Where the camper mounting is adapted to, substituted with, or supplemented by any hardware or system other than what Cascadia Overland Co. supplied for that model, we are not responsible for damage or loss caused by the failure of that mounting solution. This includes aftermarket tie-down systems, bed-mounted anchor points not supplied by us, frame-mounted brackets, and any modification to the mounting hardware or its attachment points.

Other routine maintenance

Water systems must be winterized before freezing temperatures, and freeze damage is not covered under this warranty. Seal inspection, fastener checks, and the other routine maintenance described in the owner's manual are the responsibility of the owner. Failure to perform that maintenance may limit or void coverage.

Remedies under this warranty

The sole obligation and entire liability of Cascadia Overland Co. under this limited warranty is, at our option, the repair or replacement of the camper or of the parts we determine to be defective, provided we are notified during the Warranty Period. Repairs and replacement parts are supplied from our inventory whenever available. Certain components may carry a lead time if we do not have them in stock.

You are responsible for the cost of transporting the camper to and from the designated service location, and for any cost, liability, loss, or damage connected with that transportation.

No payment or other compensation will be made for incidental expenses. This includes towing, telephone, transportation, lodging, travel, fuel, and lost pay, and it includes indirect or consequential damages such as loss of use of the camper, inconvenience, damage or injury to person or property, and loss of revenue.

How to obtain warranty service

On discovering a defect, notify us promptly to request service. When you contact us, be prepared to provide your name, address, and telephone number, proof of purchase, a description of the defect, and any claim number we have issued to you.

Warranty repairs may only be performed at a service location designated by Cascadia Overland Co. That may be our facility, an authorized dealer or installer, or another service center we approve in writing. If returning the camper to us is not practical, we will make reasonable efforts to help you find an alternative location, but we retain final discretion in selecting the designated service location.

Before any work begins

Repairs performed by a service center we have not designated must be approved by us in writing before work starts. Unapproved repairs are not reimbursable and may affect your remaining coverage.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Descriptions, drawings, specifications, samples, models, bulletins, and similar material used in connection with the sale of a camper are not an express warranty that the camper will conform to your requirements.

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY DESCRIBED ABOVE, CASCADIA OVERLAND CO. MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES ON ANY COVERED CAMPER. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY CASCADIA OVERLAND CO., ITS DEALERS, RESELLERS, INSTALLERS, AGENTS, OR EMPLOYEES CREATES A WARRANTY OR IN ANY WAY INCREASES THE SCOPE OF THIS WARRANTY, AND YOU MAY NOT RELY ON ANY SUCH INFORMATION OR ADVICE.

CASCADIA OVERLAND CO. LIMITS THE DURATION OF ANY LEGALLY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY STATED ABOVE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

NEITHER CASCADIA OVERLAND CO. NOR ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED IN THE CREATION, PRODUCTION, OR DELIVERY OF THE CAMPER IS LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, AND THE LIKE, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE CAMPER, EVEN IF CASCADIA OVERLAND CO. HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

IF ANY OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS IS HELD UNENFORCEABLE, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF CASCADIA OVERLAND CO. TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY WILL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE CLAIM.

Your rights and governing law

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

This limited warranty is governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. It is valid for and applies only to products purchased and used inside the United States and its territories or possessions.
