Deploy in under a minute and get more than 120 square feet of covered ground wrapped around three sides of your rig. The Horizon 270 is fully freestanding, so four telescoping legs carry the load instead of your roof rack, and rivet-free pivoting rafter arms keep the canopy taut without the creak and slop that plagues riveted designs.
The canopy is 600D ripstop Oxford with a PU4000+ waterproof coating, and a pop-up stake at the low point forces water off the fabric instead of letting it pool. Wind rated to 25 mph freestanding and 40 mph once staked out with the included guylines. A 75 lb rope ratchet cinches the awning tight to the camper when you are set up for the night.
Three 5 ft LED strips are built into the arms, so there is no clip-on light bar to lose. A quick attach/detach 5V USB controller switches between 2700K warm amber and 5000K daylight white, with a dimmer built into the same puck. Warm and low for dinner, bright and cold when you are working on the truck.
Mounting is handled by heavy duty steel brackets in a black powdercoat that fit standard roof racks or campers. When you are done, three Velcro straps tuck the canopy away and a 1000g PVC travel cover with heavy duty large zippers keeps it clean down the highway. Add the optional annex room to close in a side and turn the Horizon into a sleeping or changing space.
